Patients and Nursing Students’ Viewpoints on the Importance of Caring Behaviors in a Hospital Affiliated to Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences in Iran

Background: Effective caring depends on the agreement between patients and nurses’ care behaviors. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate nursing students’ viewpoints about importance behaviors in a hospital affiliated Shahrekord University Medical Sciences Iran. Methods: In descriptive analytic study, 50 nurses were selected using convenience sampling method. Data collected by Larson questionnaire. This self-report questionnaire completed students, then data analyzed analytical statistics SPSS. Results: considered availability, education, communication as most important caring, while students deemed comfort convenience, appropriate communication, monitoring follow-up significant caring. Nursing patients’ not relatively (P > 0.05). However, their concorded regarding insignificant Conclusions: Based results further attention should be focused patient needs clinical education is necessary.
